Creekside Compound
Located on a sprawling site in a rural community outside of Boulder, Colorado, this contemporary farmhouse is clad in traditional materials of stone and wood siding. The corrugated rusting steel roof enhances the home’s timeless character. Exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, barn doors, and distressed wainscoting continue the exterior aesthetic inside.
A secondary barn building, which houses the family’s horses, opens to a pasture bordered with rustic wood fencing. The exterior circulation and outdoor entertainment zones are defined by stone and gravel landscape elements and a large, covered patio area overlooks a creek at the edge of the property.
